ADHD awareness

ADHD in the workplace - boosting understanding and cancelling stereotypes.

For employers, leaders and managers

ADHD is often talked about but not always understood. In the workplace, this can lead to misconceptions, missed potential and unnecessary stigma. Yet ADHD thinkers can bring creativity, hyper‑focus, problem‑solving skills and fresh perspectives that are hugely valuable to teams when they’re supported in the right ways.

In this session, ADHD in the Workplace – Boosting Understanding and Cancelling Stereotypes, we explore what ADHD really looks like in working life, moving beyond labels to focus on strengths, needs and practical support. We’ll discuss the benefits that neurodivergent employees can bring, common workplace barriers they may encounter, and the simple adjustments that help them excel. We’ll also look at how reducing stigma and shifting attitudes can have a positive ripple effect across whole organisations.

Attendees will gain:

  • a clearer understanding of ADHD presentations in the workplace
  • insight into the strengths ADHD thinkers contribute to teams
  • practical ways to support ADHD employees to perform at their best
  • tools to challenge stereotypes and build a more inclusive culture

This session gives managers and employers the confidence to champion neurodiversity, creating workplaces where ADHD talent can thrive and everyone benefits from greater understanding.
