The proactive occupational health provider – reducing sickness absence and boosting wellbeing at work
With a rapidly increasing number of people leaving the workforce due to sickness, it’s important to have a proactive occupational health provider in place. We provide seamless access to multi-disciplinary teams, including physiotherapy, mental health and neurodiversity, to reduce absence and boost wellbeing in the workplace.

Employees have a work-limiting condition
Just one in two UK employees has access to an occupational health provider, resulting in 94% of fit notes being used to sign people off work. Thousands of employees are leaving the workplace every day, placing the onus on employers to address the issue.
As a proactive occupational health provider, we can help you to support employees with their physical and mental health. We can also educate employees and managers on how to support the one in five employees with a work-limiting condition, to help you retain skilled employees.
Our proactive approach enabled 91% of employees who were referred to our services before they became too sick to work to remain in work. As our data analysis shows, this prevented two-thirds from going absent.
By helping employees to recover while still in work, PAM Group helped us to significantly reduce sickness absence and generate substantial cost savings.

Occupational Health Provider Research
Issues ranging from skills shortages to healthcare delays mean it’s never been more important to look after the health of your workforce.
According to our Health at Work Report, 86% of employees believe their employer has responsibility for their wellbeing in the workplace. Yet almost two-thirds have experienced fatigue, and a quarter have been diagnosed with clinical anxiety or depression. Almost one in four people has experienced musculoskeletal (MSK) issues.
Fortunately, with the right occupational health provider, you can reduce the risks to individuals and help them manage symptoms to stay at work. As well as reducing absence, this can also boost employee loyalty. One in two employees given proactive help to stay healthy said this made them less likely to want to work elsewhere. This compares to just 6% of those given little or no support from their employer.
