
Cancer diagnosis adds £6,500 a year to employee living costs, report finds
New research into the hidden costs of cancer shows that half of workers diagnosed with cancer have been forced to change their employment. Dr Bernard Yew, medical director at PAM OH, talked to the CIPD’s People Management Magazine about why supporting employees with cancer to stay in work will reduce income lost and the risk of them falling out of work.
