ESG: Environmental, Social & Governance Progress at PAM Group
This year PAM Group has been more ambitious with its ESG strategy than ever before. As well continuing to move away from fossil fuels across all business operations, we’ve started tackling scope 3 emissions to reduce our total carbon footprint by 40%.
On the social front, our commitment to fostering health in the community has resulted in a new strategic partnership with food bank charity The Trussell Trust and the sponsorship of several youth sports leagues.
Our governance work saw our best practice approach to preventing people with health conditions from falling into long-term sickness presented at Westminster, contributing to record levels of funding to help prevent more people from falling into economic inactivity.
Critical to our success this year has been the ongoing commitment of our board to doing the right thing and the appointment of a dedicated ESG manager, Cameron Jackson. Find out what Cameron and Liz Partington, our director of people, had to say about a year of solid progress below.
